1. Car rental
Question 1: Do we need a car?
Question 2: Can we pick-up and return the car at the airport?
Question 3: Can the car be brought to the hotel?
Answer: During your vacation here in Curacao it is advisable to rent a car. We are more than happy to arrange a car for you at Thrifty Car Rental.
Upon arrival you can pick up the car at Thrifty located at the airport or you will be picked up the next day at the hotel reception by the car rental company to pick up the car at Thrifty.

2. Maximum amount of people per accommodation
Question 1: Can we book an accommodation with more people than stated?
Answer: The maximum amount of people per bedroom that are allowed in an accommodation is two. This means that a maximum of 4 people are allowed in a 2 bedroom accommodation and 6 people in a 3 bedroom accommodation, including (small) children. Extra people are not allowed and we do not place extra beds due to fire safety which Blue Bay Hotel needs to consider.
3. Baby bed and Baby chair
Question 1: Can you place a baby bed and/or baby chair?
Answer: A baby bed and baby chair can be placed in your accommodation at a cost of US$50,-. You can reserve this with your booking online or contact us for more information.
4. Basic grocery package
Question 1: Can you place a grocery package in the accommodation?
Question 2: Can we add items to the basic grocery package?
Answer: We can place a basic grocery package in the accommodation for US$50, - . Please click here for more information.
In the basic grocery package you will find the basic products you need, we will not add extra groceries. If you would like a bigger grocery package you can also reserve a starters package with extra items such as fruit, mosquito spray, extra juice and snacks for US$ 100, or a VIP package for US$ 175,- with luxury items such as smoked salmon, champagne and chocolates.

5. Towels and linen
Question 1: Are there towels and linen in the accommodations?
Answer: Towels and linen can be found in the accommodations and will be exchanged every third day with the cleaning of the accommodation. Beach towels can be exchanged every day.
6. Internet connection
Question 1: Can we make use of free internet?
Answer: There is a computer in the lobby of the hotel reception where you will have free access to the internet.
7. Elevator and floors
Question 1: Is there an elevator in the hotel?
Question 2: How many floors are there in The Hill and in The Ocean?
Question 3: Can we have the highest floor?
Answer: The Hill and The Ocean both have four floors with an elevator. Unfortunately it is not possible to guarantee a request for a (high) floor.
8. Walking distance
Question 1: What is the walking distance from the accommodations to the beach?
Answer: All of our accommodations are located at a walking distance to the beach. The Ocean is located directly at the beach with 1-2 minutes walking distance. The Village is located a bit further with a walking distance of 3 to 8 minutes, depending on the exact location of the villa. The Hill is a bit further from the beach with a walking distance of 8 to 10 minutes.
9. Breakfast
Question 1: Is breakfast included in my stay?
Answer: Breakfast is not included. For US$15 per person per day you can enjoy a daily breakfast. Children till the age of 18 will receive a discount of US$5,-. You can reserve this with your booking online or contact us for more information.
10. Directions and location
Question 1: What are the driving directions from Hato airport to Blue Bay?
Question 2: How far is Blue Bay from Willemstad?
Question 3: How far is Blue Bay from a supermarket?
Answer: From Hato Airport, turn right onto the main road, continue for approximately 8 km until the roundabout. Take the 2nd exit at the roundabout, straight on, until you pass the first traffic lights and gas station. At the 2nd traffic lights turn right in the direction of ‘Bullenbaai’. On your left hand you will see Centrum Supermarket and on you right a big Billboard with Blue Bay. After 2 km turn you can turn left to Blauw Baai (Blue Bay).

- Distance to Willemstad: 15 minutes by car
- Distance to nearest supermarket: 5 minutes by car
11. Housekeeping
Question 1: How often are the accommodations cleaned?
Answer: Your accommodation will be cleaned every third day of your stay. We can also provide a daily cleaning service for US$ 50, - per day. You can reserve this directly with your booking online or contact us for more information.
12. Transfer
Question 1: Is it possible to be picked up at the airport?
Answer: It is possible to arrange a transfer from and to the airport. This is US$ 30,- for one way, based on four people. The cost for each extra person is US$ 6,-. You can reserve this directly with your booking online or contact us for more information.
Almost every (Dutch) travel organization has the airport transfer included in the price, but it is wise to check this. If this is not the case, we are more than happy to arrange this for you.
13. Voltage and Plugs
Question 1: What is the voltage in the accommodation?
Question 2: Are voltage plugs necessary?
Answer: The voltage in the accommodations in The Hill and The Ocean are 220V with an European plug. In The Village there are American plugs of 220V and V110. Converters that are necessary can be borrowed at the reception. A deposit of USD25,- will be charged for this.
14. Rates and special discounts

Answer: There are different rates per accommodation. The rates can be found on our website under accommodations. Specials can also be found here.
15. Beach entrance (day pass)
Question 1: Can we make use of your beach?
Question 2: What is included in the price?
Answer: You can make use of our beach. The entrance fee is ANG 15,- ($8,-) per day. This is including free use of the facilities, swimming pool and sun beds. Children pay half price.
Hotel guests enjoy free access to the beach.
